Their next game on the Saturday was at 3pm at the Oakleigh Recreation Reserve. This was against the Ringwood Hawks boys 4. The hot weather made this game a sluggish affair, with both teams struggling to hit the scoreboard.

The Bendigo boys controlled the game for the entire 34 minutes and ended up winning 37-9. This was the first game where the heat rules came into effect.

On Sunday morning the boys played their toughest pool game. This was their best team effort. The game was against Dandenong Rangers 7 in Sandringham. Played under heat restrictions & intense stadium heat.

The final game on Sunday was to make it into the grand final. This game was set at Sandringham. Unfortunately, the game was cancelled due to extreme heat. Luckily, due to our position on the ladder, the Braves made it through to the grand final.
