As a State of Disaster was declared as of 6:00pm on 2 August 2020, it is with regret due to this declaration that the Bendigo Basketball Association (BBA) announces the “Paul Gray Builders” 2020 Winter season cancelled effective immediately.
Stage 3 restrictions for Regional Victoria requires all community Sport and training to cease as of 11:59pm on Wednesday 5 August 2020.
With this in mind, the BBA advise there will be no domestic competition or training at the Bendigo Stadium until further notice.
The Director of Coaching and Athlete Development will again be organising online sessions for you to log in to maintain community connection and skill development. Stay tuned for further information.
The State of Disaster and State of Emergency are due for review in mid-September, the BBA are working towards commencing the Summer season in early October restrictions permitting. Further updates will be provided.
BBA thank “Paul Gray Builders” for their continued support, and with you we look forward to Bendigo Basketball coming back in early October.
