Dear Bendigo Basketball community,
We wish to advise that Ben McCauley has resigned from the Board of the Bendigo Basketball Association (BBA), effective 16 April 2026.
Ben has dedicated countless hours over many years to the growth and development of our Association. His journey with Bendigo Basketball began as a junior player, before progressing to represent the Bendigo Braves in more than 100 senior games. He later contributed to coaching and administrative roles across the Association.
Ben brings an exceptional depth of knowledge of our history and operations, having served on all BBA sub-committees and across multiple terms as both President and Vice President. He has played a key role in guiding the Association through significant milestones, including the challenges of COVID-19 and major stadium expansions. Throughout his involvement, Ben has consistently demonstrated integrity, passion, and a strong commitment to honouring our history while embracing growth and new opportunities.
On behalf of the BBA Board and the broader basketball community, we extend our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to Ben for his outstanding contribution over many years. We also acknowledge and thank Ben’s wife, Noni, and his family for their ongoing support, which has enabled his significant contribution to the game and our community.
