Tayla Flint was awarded the Basketball Victoria Technical Officials Commission WNBL referee of the year.
Tayla enjoyed her seventh season as a WNBL referee in the 2023/24 season. She was one of the referees awarded the grand final series in 2024 and was part of the first all-female officiating crew for the FIBA Ballin 24 games in the lead-up to the Olympics. Tayla is the fourth National-Level referee from Bendigo and only the second International referee. She is currently officiating her eighth season.
Paul Moller was awarded the 2024 FIBA scoretable official of the year.
Paul Moller has been a scoretable official in Bendigo since the early 90s, scoring for the Braves and the Bendigo Spirit for the last 30+ years. Paul has been rewarded for his dedication to the art of being a score table official by holding an international license. This places Paul in the top group of scorers in the world. In 2024, Paul was lucky enough to be appointed to 2 international games in the lead-up to the Olympic games. Paul has also become a coach for the score table and recently was appointed to look after a region for basketball, Victoria, as a development officer.
