Bendigo Braves NBL1 Women and Youth league Women can call themselves champions after both teams came away with wins in their Grand Finals over the weekend.
The NBL1 Champions IGA Braves claimed their title with a win over Waverley 83-78 at the State Basketball Centre on Saturday, while the Youth League Women captured their own title with a victory over Keilor 79-85 at Keilor Basketball Stadium.
Amy Atwell was named MVP for the NBL1 Women with 36pts, 8reb
Lavinia Cox was named MVP for the Youth League Braves with 30pts, 3reb, 4ast
