The Bendigo U14 Girls go in to next weeks U14 National
Club Championships with high hopes to be the first Bendigo team to ever win the competition which has been running since 1970.
Going into next weeks competition as the second ranked Victorian team gives the group great confidence they can compete at the highest level.
Coaches Ben Caruana and Brady Childs are confident that if the girls play their brand of Basketball to their highest level, they can come away with an historic result.
The team qualifies for Nationals after taking out the Country Championships in Mildura, winning the Grand Final by 48 points.
The girls also had a visit from Kelsey Griffin from Bendigo Spirit wishing them well!
The girls start the campaign against Manly Warringah on Sunday, followed by Gold Coast and Northern Tasmania on Monday.
